Question 1

What is a Business Profit Score?

Accepted Answer

A Business Profit Score is a single 0–100 financial-health index for small-business owners. It is calculated from five core diagnostics, each scored independently, and comes with a letter grade (A+ to F) and a one-line status: Strong (75 and above), Watch This (50–74), or Danger Zone (below 50). The full assessment takes about five minutes and requires no accounting degree.

Question 2

How is the Business Profit Score calculated?

Accepted Answer

The score blends five core segments: Business Trend Tracker (revenue trend), Pay Your Bills On Time (current ratio), Stronger or Weaker? (sales-trend analysis), Be a Better Strategist (margins), and Profits vs. Cash Reality (profit versus cash flow). Each segment is scored from 0–100; the overall score combines them into one index with a letter grade and status, so you always know which lever to pull next.

Question 3

Is my financial data private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your inputs, assessments, and reports are private to your account and are never shared with unauthorized third parties without your consent. See the MyProfitsScore Privacy Policy for details.

Question 4

How long does the assessment take?

Accepted Answer

The five core segments take about five minutes to complete and produce your Business Profit Score. The remaining segments are optional resources you can explore anytime without finishing the assessment first.
